$20 gift card to Docs Records from Lindsey A.
$40 cash from step mother Carol V.
A griddle and panties (girdle har har) from my dad.
Fancy Cassette recorder from Al.
Repo Man Soundtrack from Jeremy S.
Mystery presents from Anthony D. and Crystal R.
And a check for $100 from my grandparents I never see. I should go see them.
I realized recently that I honestly love giving and receiving presents. But this year I barely gave anybody anything! I took the time to make just about everybody I see on a regular basis a personalized magnet last year. This year I gave nothing.
So what! I'm still the king of birthdays.
I forgot to mention that I got a gigantic fancy pepper grinder from a white elephant gift party at Lindsey and Britt's. It was broken. |
